The Microsoft Customer Agreement is a one-time purchasing agreement that does not expire and provides consumers with consistent purchase terms regardless of how they purchase. The Microsoft Customer Agreement is a contract that will govern customer purchases at Microsoft in the future. In the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) software, it will initially replace the Microsoft Cloud Agreement. Microsoft intends to improve the Microsoft Consumer Agreement for customer buying in all commercial sales motions.

What are the agreement acceptance requirements for customers who are working with multiple partners in CSP?
Confirmation of agreement acceptance is the responsibility of the partner. If a customer transacts with multiple CSP partners, each partner should confirm the customer’s agreement acceptance.
Who within a customer organisation is authorised to accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement?
It is the customer’s responsibility to determine who is authorised to provide agreement acceptance.
It is the partner’s responsibility to obtain customer acceptance of the agreement from a person inside the customer organisation.
What products does the Microsoft Customer Agreement cover?
All Microsoft products and services available for purchase under the Microsoft Cloud Agreement in the CSP program are covered by the Microsoft Customer Agreement.
I am an Umbrellar indirect reseller. What is my responsibility to confirm acceptance of the Microsoft Customer Agreement?
It is Umbrellar’s responsibility to develop the tool to ensure that you as a CSP indirect reseller can confirm your customers’ acceptance of the Microsoft Customer Agreement. However we will need you as a CSP indirect reseller to confirm the acceptance of Microsoft Customer Agreement with your customers and provide the information through MyCSP portal for us to provision subscriptions and licenses to your customers.
If a customer has accepted the Microsoft Customer Agreement directly with Microsoft, does the customer need to resign the agreement when purchasing in CSP?
No. A customer who has signed the Microsoft Customer Agreement directly with Microsoft does not need to resign the agreement to make purchases in CSP.
