How can an Indirect Reseller approve any order placed by their customer:

  1. The order approval feature is available under White-Label > Customers > Toggle Yes/No Order approval required?

  2. If enabled then the reseller will get the option of approving any order placed by their customer. If disabled, then the order placed by the customer gets processed.

How can an Indirect Reseller suspend their customer’s account:

  1. Where this is identified, a P4 request ticket can be sent through to Umbrellar via the Portal and the Umbrellar team will suspend the customer’s subscriptions. By suspending the subscriptions, the customer won’t be able to sign in and use their Microsoft services.

  2. Indirect resellers need to disable the customer’s access to the Portal via ‘Whitelabel -> Customers’.  By removing Portal access, the customer won’t be able to login to the Portal and purchase more licenses.

  3. All data relating to the subscription will be deleted unless the subscription is reactivated within 90 days of suspension (as per Microsoft). It will be the customer’s task to back up any data. Umbrellar will not be responsible for any data loss that occurred.

  4. Partner billing continues during the suspension and it will be upto indirect reseller to charge their customer.

 

How can an Indirect Reseller Un-Suspend their customer’s account:

  1. A P4 request ticket can be sent through to Umbrellar via the Portal and the Umbrellar team will un-suspend the customer’s subscriptions.

  2. Alongside this, the indirect reseller can enable the customer’s access to the Portal again via ‘Whitelabel -> Customers’.

  3. Customer can now sign in and use their services, and can also login to the Portal and manage licenses again

  4. Partner billing continues during the suspension and it will be upto indirect reseller to charge their customer.

 

How can an Indirect Reseller cancel a customer account (A.K.A ‘Unlink Reseller relationship):

  1. A P4 request ticket can be sent through to Umbrellar via the Portal, make sure and the Umbrellar team will remove the Reseller relationship between the indirect reseller and the customer

  2. Before Umbrellar can remove a reseller relationship - all the subscriptions of the customer must either be canceled or should have been moved to another provider. We can only remove the reseller relationship provided there are no active subs.
